About the Battle

Mondays just got louder as el Jimador Tequila presents Battle on 3rd in association with Music City Unsigned, 3rd and Lindsley, and Lightning 100.

Thirty-six bands will be competing for a grand prize valued at $10,000. The competition begins on September 27th at 3rd and Lindsley and takes place each Monday through December 13th. The Battle on 3rd finals will take place on Monday January 10, 2011.

Each week, four bands will compete. The winning band from that night will advance to a semi-final round, which will include the winning bands from the prior three weeks. Three semi-finals winners will advance to the Battle On 3rd finals which take place in January.

Judges will vary each week and include Nashville music industry professionals from publishing companies, artist management companies, performing rights organizations, songwriting associations and more.
